I borrowed a D3 from my local LR mechanic whilst my previous D2 was in for a service. They had the seat belt ping sorted by placing recycled belt clasps cut from a written off car (from the scrap merchants) into the sockets - How inspired was that !? When not using them, just chuck them in the glove compartment and use your belts as normal
If sufficient people interested I can possibly get my hands on a suppler and put an end to that annoying beep when carrying something heavy on the front passenger seat "If you're not livin' on the edge.....You're takin' up too much room"!

Disabled my alarm today and peace and quiet! Yipee, been wearing seat belts since the clunk click days! Don't need to be reminded to belt up by anything anymore!
Thanks for this brilliant tip!

Thanks Ecosse. After years of driving the 200 odd yards down to my shed and back with those annoying binging noises in various cars, I finally have peace and quiet.

Hi All,
I have just tried this and whilst I can get it to work on the drivers side I do not get he bong when I do it on the PAX side?
I want the drivers enabled but the pax disabled so I can have my bag in the seat whilst driving.
2014 XS D4
Any suggestions?
Do you need to do both or neither?
Thank you
