60DISCO Thumbs Up - Sadly, tried that and as others have recalled, pretty much everything else you can do in terms of resetting, disconnecting batteries, old discs / new discs / toggling between arrival time (eta) and time of journey in the options menu and such, but to little joy.

Today I have just spoken to LR CS who did try to help, but have moved the issue on to another (I assume more technical??? person / department) and have said they will try to get back to me with either resolution or worse by the end of the week.

Lets see what they can run up the flag pole to flap in the wind!

You can choose time of arrival or journey duration. The duration works, not the arrival time.

I did chase, I am still waiting for their suggestions, but must be honest, it had slipped down the list.

I'll take the hint 😉 from your post and chase them... Again.

Scotland 2009 Discovery 3 TDV6 XS Manual Java BlackDiscovery 3

Daft question of the week.

Did I not read somewhere that GPS needs a firmware update to read the date stamp correctly from the 4th of April. The same idea as the millennium bug, the week numbers have run out. Could this be the reason ?

Does anyone have the latest "disk" and have this problem?

My ETA stop a few weeks ago when I disconnected the battery. Being tight I don't want to spend good money after bad on another disk if it won't cure the problem.

PS SWMBO is terrible with maps, she needs the satnav to ensure she is reading the map the right way up.

I made a similar post above but edited it when I realised the original question in the thread predated the GPS bug 'thing'

Austria

Hi,

i have the same problem, no time in the sat nav from GPS.
GPS End-of-Week Rollover.

I told this Patrick from GAP (IID TOOL) for a solution.

Answer:

Hello Alexander

Unfortunately, such a solution can not be implemented from our side.

So, now any other Idea?

Maybe from the sat nav Programmer, the gys who programms the cards for the denso sat nav,
but just now without a firmware for landrover? I think we need a new firmware for the densos with an implementation from this problem "GPS End-of-Week Rollover Problem". Big Cry

Thanks in advance

Completely separate to this but I have heard the way GPS is being accessed is changing and some older GPS receivers will need to be updated. I wonder if this is one of those?

Jabba,

How did you perform the reset to fox the ETA in the Navigation unit? I am on the latest Maps and suffer the issue currently...
