Hi, I've just replaced my '13 Disco, with a '14 and the seatbelt chine trick wouldn't work. Has anyone got any suggestions? The chap in the garage said LR might have stopped the trick due to new legislation. I've tried 7 times, 9 times, and 20 times. All recommended but still nothing. Many Thanks in advance!

Mine's a MY14 and the 9-times trick works fine. Try to do it in a quick sequence (engine not running).

Ok brilliant.....I'll give it a few attempts! I'm out shooting tomorrow in it, and really don't want to have to sit on the belt all day!
Ill let you know, thank you for your help.

Brilliant, thanks! Just done it, NO CHIME!!!! I assume it will also work with the passenger seat as well or does it cover both.
If there was one thing I found annoying about my DY4 it was that, now it really is perfect!

Thank you, I've got it off thankfully. I had the engine on the left the buckle in on the 9th until a chine and the warning light came on.....if that is ever any use to readers in the future.
I ended up doing half a dozen RR on Saturday too, which led to free pints in the pub. So a massive thank you is in order.
Cheers.

The first thing I did on my D3 then D4 before I had left the forecourt! Simple and immeasurably worthwhile. Thanks to the originator.

Just 're-enabled' my non-functioning seat belt chime (which I thought was faulty!). Thanks for the useful info
