Can I stop the seatbelt chime as You can on the D3?
Pain when you are in an out of the car in fields opening and closing gates!

+1 on that if anyone knows the answer! A common mistake made when trying to come up with a totally foolproof design is to completely underestimate the innate ingenuity of fools.

YES - exactly as per my posting of 7 years ago!!! see http://disco3.co.uk/forum/topic524.html
ie simply turn ignition on (press start button but without the foot on the brake), then rapidly (within 1 min) put the safety belt in & out of the clip 9 times! On the 9th time the safety belt light will stay on for a while & then after that you still get the safety belt light but not the "beep" . Just repeat the process if you want to re-enable the "beep"

I think this works on all Ford based systems, and as the D3 was under ford development at some point, I suppose the facility was added. It worked on our company Galaxy too.

Now tried on the D4. Chime no longer goes off but warning light stays on. Everything went off in my van. Not that I'm bothered as its still a good reminder without annoying the life out of me

Hi, could anyone who has deactivated the chime on MY14's tell me if seatbelt warning indicator comes on if driver has seatbelt on, but passenger not? I would really appreciate any feedback, as on mine nothing appears to indicate that passenger does not have seatbelt on. (works if chime is active)
