Severe Polishing on my RV |
|
On another thread I explained how you can use the Porter Cable (PC) polisher to get rid of swirls. I see some of you think this is pointless. That's OK of course.
This was done with a combination of some special polishes and waxes for RV's. The PC is used with different foam pads for each part of the process. I tried to polish the RV by hand last year using T Cut and polish and after a weekend of torture I had only achieved a fraction of what you see here.

Above piccies where taken a couple of hours in. The stunning bit for me was the bottom dark grey area. This paint has been very mottled since I bought the RV and further investigation shows this is common. The paint just fell off as I was polishing.
Nackered now and enjoying a glass of red! Will continue with the efforts tomorrow. If I have time I may do the bonnet of the Disco.
Regards
Chris
