Lancaster on Reading have had my car for 2 days doing a spot of warrenty work.
Ac compressor, wheel bearing plus the brake vacuum recall thing.
While they were at it, I got them to pop on a new diff heat shield which costs £18.
Bare in mind it takes about 5 mins to pop it on, the bill was £55.
Personally, I'd have done it for nowt. They thought I was joking when I moaned!!
Hey ho. When they do the customer satisfaction survey the low score indicator will be on the minus setting.Welcome "Lola"

It's a bit of a shame they don't look after their recent customers issues!!!

I've just had my 75,000 mile service, originally quoted £380 but when I asked if that was the best they could do it came straight down to £320. They actually call it an allegance discount, don't really care about the name, its the price and service that count. That was Shields in Glasgow, they are normally about £50 cheaper than Taggarts as well.
DSL - who do you use?

Dave, use Frank Ogg in Elgin, not a lot of choice up here so not much discounting available but very happy with the work they do. SWMBO's car in there at the mo for service & MOT.
re allegiance discount, you can get 15% off parts & labour, always worth asking for as 15% off is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!
