Snorkel, Cargo Barrier & ARB Bar

Does anyone know if we can buy a snorkel and cargo barrier for the Discovery 3 in Australia yet? Having looked at a Discovery 3 with the ARB bar and Warn winch, it seems to me to have affected the angle of approach. Anybody with the bar see that as a problem?

The snorkel will be available next month I think. LRA is sourcing one locally from Safari.

Cargo barrier - don't know. Black Widow has a produced a drawer set with a half barrier, but I don't know about a full one.

The ARB bar does affect approach angle - it makes it even better! Very Happy

I agree the approach angle is better with the ARB BB.

The inner guards are trimmed to suit the BB and the recovery point is fully exposed which means the front approach angle is actually improved.

There is no need for a sumpguard as the original steel one is plenty tough enough. The ARB BB comes with a front protection steel plate covering the intercooler which is better than the plastic front bumper protecting the intercooler.

Did the Palm Valley access road last week. Lots of rock climbs. Disco treated it like it was a highway. No issues at all with approach and ARB bar.

I checked recently with Milfords who a big of cargo barriers and it is in the process of testing one I believe. Apparently there are issues with the curtain airbags that is presenting some issues. Snorkel I thought was out??? ARB have it in their latest catalogue? Also on AULRO one of the guys there is getting in some great D3 accessories ( genuine) and one includes the winch that actually goes into the front bar of the vehcile so still retaining the look of the car, plus wheel carrier, long range tanks, and underbody protection,

Long range tanks? Where did he mount them? Does his underbody protection include anything like a rock slider?

I wonder if Catweasel and Tombraider are the same person.

Just coincidental that both are located in Whyalla South Australia.

Chris,
Tombraider is a good friend of mine & we have been trying to get this gear to Aus ASAP....
Its been a while but getting closer by the day.
His Business name used to be "Roverworks" but he failed to register the name & mid last year someone else did(hence his email contact) now called "Total Rover" from memory..
