Not heard a thing off him. It's frustrating as I'm willing to do the leg work, just need him to ok it. I'll PM him again now.

I've spoken with Mantec who referred me to Flatdog, who said they will do a slightly lower price if I can organise a group buy. I may go back to Mantec as I think they could give us the best price.
I've PM'd Martin to double check that we can still go ahead with it being Flatdog and as soon as I hear back I'll create a new thread with details

I've a feeling your 'rubber trumpet' may be different from the one needed for a RAI. It was on my D4 anyway.Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! I believe the tube itself needs to be replaced with a waterproof alternative, also the perforated corner before the airbox needs to have its holes covered and I think that's about it. I'll assemble the whole RAI assembly and hose outside of the vehicle and will document the waterproofing before I reinstall the thing. The eBay link provided above is for the standard inlet hose which is not waterproofed.

Hey guys, time for a revive. Did you end up making your RAI waterproof? I have one fitted from new by the dealer pre me owning the car so I’m now looking to waterproof it. Is it a case of sealing the holes in the elabo and fitting another bit of pipe?
