Thanks, I thought as much, but the guide makes it all look easy.

I wondered if it would be quicker to cut that awkward fuel rail bolt, instead of loosening the EGR, and replace it with a shorter one.

You still have to move the egr valve to allow access onto the head and give room to bring it out. Saving time there in the scheme of the job is no great time saver.
