Steering Wheel Air Bag
Hi New to the Site and to the Discovery 3. Love them both. Base 2006 model so I want to fit Radio switches to the steering wheel. Have all the instructions but how do you remove the Air Bag? Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome
Make up a tool out of a coathanger or welding rod like this
Put it in the hole in the steering wheel cowling( one each side ) with the hook facing towards you...hook it under the bar and pull outwards ( towards the indicator stalk ) ..it will pop up ...repeat for the other side .
Move the airback up out the way ..dont have to disconnect anything then .
You can just about make out the metal pin that you latch under on this pic
