Awesome engine swap! Sorry if I missed it ready through the thread but did you have to change anything with BCM? I see you changed the chassis and engine compartment looms but it looks like you kept the D3 body loom? I’m looking into swapping the 4.4 petrol v8 into my 4.0 petrol D3 and I’m trying to keep the same vin in the bcm.

Mike, I have been following this thread and love what you’ve done, best colour combo 👍However can’t really budget at the moment to do mine. So for now I want to copy your grill spots, can you please let me know which ones they are and were the brackets a custom fit or supplied with lights. Fantastic write up and brilliant achievement!

I'm considering the same thing - due to the age of my V6, body is pristine - just curious what chassis modification you had to do, and how tricky the fault resolution was - was it related to wiring snags or required recoding?

Hi Mike,

I tried the conversion but will not be installing ACE . I have done everything else but stuck on suspension not working. The vehicle has a speed sensor fault once you start driving it and then front suspension lowers completely and the car is locked in extended mode. Any thoughts on how to remedy this ? Been stuck for 3 months now Big Cry
