TDV8 retrofit...

For those not on Facebook...

With customers cancelling due to the weather, and lack of deliveries for the same reason, progress has been made on fitting the TDV8!

Doesn't look like much progress has been made, but:
Front end wiring loom has been swapped over
Chassis loom has been swapped over
Fuel pipes and filter housing replaced
Engine mounts swapped
TDV8 PCM is in place

Fuel tank wiring needs extended (annoyingly, it's 5 inches too short Evil or Very Mad )
Fuel cooler fitting
Gearbox oil cooler fitting
Filter housing secured

Then the engine and gearbox can be fitted into place!














Engine and gearbox now in situ Thumbs Up






And sat next to a 2.7 for comparison

Just an idea, you should keep a rough build time going so that you can price this upgrade up for anyone mad enough Twisted Evil

If you have a V8 petrol D3, how easy is it to fit a RRS super charged engine, gear box etc etc

Not far off 10 days to get the Sport stripped, the D3 stripped and to this stage Shocked My D3 Build Thread

Rather jealous I do not have the ability to do such a build.

Any chance you can tell me what size fuel line or what size the quick connectors are in the pick of the fuel filter ???

I am thinking 8mm and chance you can tell ?

This is only for testing and mock up

Once it’s had all the issues ironed out, it’s all coming apart, my blue on will be coming off the road, and being rebuilt (again) with a Galv chassis Thumbs Up My D3 Build Thread
