We have a Kenwood food mixer which used to belong to MIL and is probably close to 50 years old and works fine.
Correction - it's nearly 60 years old and has been serviced a few times by a vintage Kenwood specialist in Hythe. Still makes great cakes!
It looks as though the feet have perished on that chef. You need to get replacements, easily found, without them it stops the ventilation for the motor & you're then on a slippery slope

Grandma's old Spong Bean Slicer makes an appearance each year. Makes me smile every time I take it out the box.

Also the beige 70's Tower Slo Cooker is soldiering on producing hotpot every once in a while. As does the Black & Decker workmate wm79-001 fitted some new jaws a few years back & it will probably outlast me.

This jacket has lasted me since 2001. Remember I bought it just before my National service. Some of the lining is worn, might actually try getting a tailor to fix that. Oh, and one of the buttons have gone, but that happened 20 years ago.

Thanks Nick but I cheated with the picture… that’s a stock one off the interweb as ours was at the back of the cupboard and I couldn’t be to pull it out for a picture. Sorry.Cheers,
