So today my Iid tool arrived and having played with every function i could find the only bit im stuggling is to get the CCFs to change. When the tool reads the CCFs it has saved the changes from the last attempt but nothing is changing. Timed climate seems the easiest one to discuss? Or do i need additional hardware? 2015 SE Tech Good bye untrusted p38

If you have done it right you need to let the car go to sleep after the changes to get them to show.

If your car has a ghost immobilizer fitted you need to put it in service mode to be able to change any ccf or do any updates.
The ghost has an obd protection on it. ...........One life live it..........

Do you need to put a code in the car before starting? 4 to 10 buttons pressed before starting the car. If this is the case you have a ghost fitted. ...........One life live it..........

Oh right no thats not the case.
I can alter the heights of the suspension and change the ccf file but the edits dont alter anything on the vehicle. Good bye untrusted p38

Does the ECU need a reset to take on the new values? Some ECUs do.
Not sure if you can issue a reset from the IID but you could disconnect the battery for a minute and then re-connect.
You'll probably have to reset the clock after battery disconnect though.

It's been a while since I changed the CCF but I thought after you changed a setting, you had to exit the car configuration mode then the tool would ask if you want to upload the new file to the car - asking you a yes/no. Was that done? 2016 D4 TDV6 Corris Grey

Yes and it took control and turned the engine off and cycled the ignition a few times then said upload successful. Next time engine is started, start it, stop it, and re start it. All of which i did. Good bye untrusted p38

I'd try it with a setting that for sure doesn't require any additional hardware, for example "global closing". Turn that off (or on) then save and upload it, see if that works, then put it back again as it was. 2016 D4 TDV6 Corris Grey
