I realize there are many discussions about tires, but still a few questions.
On my previous D2 I went from stock, to AT, to MTR's and found BFG AT's to be a good blend of mainly on road with off road capability. MTR's super off road, but a little loud. I also went from 18" to 16", swapped wheels, to gain more options for the 16" size.
Now I have a great, quiet, comfortable ride, but lack some of the rugged features? I have the 19" wheels on an HSE. What are you doing with wheels and tires? Does anyone have 19" tires they think are a good blend of on and off road?
In the USA we have no MTR option at this time for 19" and I see only a few selections?

Yeah, and good luck finding the OEM Goodyears... I had to replace 2 of them this weekend, and Goodyear didn't have ANY in southern california... possibly the most populous area of the USA. I had to switch to the Pirellis.
So far all I have done is highway commuting to work and back, so I can't talk about off-road, but they seem to be just as quiet as the Goodyear MTs were.

Doc, what kind of Pirelli did you go with? How you like them?
