The D4 feels so much faster than the D3, I'm sure that if it was de-limited it would do a lot more than the 112mph max
So far its been hard to keep the car below 70mph on the motorway.
Usually the cruising speed creeps up to around 85 ish , with only the slightest pressure on the throttle, before you realise how fast you are going.
If you put your foot down @ 85 it pulls away like mad

Please lets not have another speed limiter removal thread, the forum has not long recovered from the last one I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

And then decide if you REALLY want to pursue that queston I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

It's limited to 112mph
phew
I'm used to doing the autobahn runs, and cruising at 100 is about my limit, with one eye firmly on the rear view mirror looking for the missiles coming at you at 130+. It makes for good lane discipline
I was just concerned that 100 might me getting a bit wheezy for the Disco, especially on up hill stretches, and especially as our group includes an X3 (I don't want to end up )
Started having a look at the previous 'de-limiter' thread Apologies for bringing up the subject

130mph top speed for the X3 3.0d but ISTR that the sporty-pack versions are a little bit higher....
