Might have had something to do with the 25 warranty trips to the dealer in the first 14 months.
Received a Landrover Calendar for 2006, no calendar from LR this year.
They must have realised that you were using the calendar to record the visits to the dealer and decided best not give you another.

Sadly, ours wasn't. $80,000 for a car and we only got half a tank. Are we allowed to name and shame on this forum?
OK, it seems I am allowed to name and shame. But before I do I will point out that the whole experience of buying the car was pleasant and not at all stressful. We did get a couple of bottles of a nice red. The salesperson, James Gower (yes he is related to the cricketer) was marvellous, but I'm still pee'd off at not getting a full tank - especially when the dealership was fully aware that we had a longish drive home to our country town.

Yep, 424 to be exact. Mind you, I frequently drive over 1000Km a day for work...and I'm sure Jamo clocks 'em up too - but hey! the fuel they gave us wouldn't have got us home.

G'day all you 'Westerners'
I and two other Disco3s will be doing an East-West crossing in May/June/July (towing vans) and ending up at Steep Point. At least two will be due for a service soon after arrival. I realise there are not many stealers in the area so most probably will have to travel south. Reading about some of the troubles you are having does not give me much confidence. Who would you recommend for serviceing???

I bought an HSE 11 months ago. All I got was a whinge from the boss at the dealership that the price I paid was "prostitution of the brand". Also a short verbal apology for not delivering my rubber mats (paid for and delivered evntually about two months later). I did get some fuel but not a full tank. Since purchase, he wouldn't want to know you. 2006 HSE TDV6 Bonatti Grey, ECB bull bar, tropical roof, LG Next G car kit, Tom Tom GPS, UHF, Mitchell Bros tow bar, Kimberley Kamper Limited Edition camper trailer and 23 foot Haines Signature half cabin (Towed separately!)

Good luck Peter, I had better service from Alto in Sydney and should probably have stayed there. Service is a problem as you know. Courtsey cars are non existant from the dealer we are talking about. You can "buy" a car for the day, usually a Falcon. Alto once lent me a beautiful Jaguar with TV in the dash. They lent it to me overnight as we were in Sydney and said "take your wife out and have a good time" 2006 HSE TDV6 Bonatti Grey, ECB bull bar, tropical roof, LG Next G car kit, Tom Tom GPS, UHF, Mitchell Bros tow bar, Kimberley Kamper Limited Edition camper trailer and 23 foot Haines Signature half cabin (Towed separately!)

I would concur that Alto are good. I have had no problems with the service dept. but this site helps.
We pushed on price but not a full tank of fuel and corporate program (free service and loaner ) but no bottles of wine. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Bob,
there are no dealers between Perth and Steep Point. The Dealer at Geraldton was stripped of his dealership. This means you can choose between Southern Land Rover and Barbagallo Motors (and both are the same company anyway.) There is a mob called Whyatt Motors in Geraldton and he specialises in Landy's...and from all accounts his work is OK. He has the necessary equipment to check all of the engine management computers etc. My understanding is that he cannot do warranty work, not because he is not capable, simply that he cannot get paid for it (by Land Rover or the Perth Dealerships.)
Cheers,

Note that you are also in Geralton. We may be able to catch up for a chat on the way through.
