A snippet from said article:-
New Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) rates for new vehicles registered from March 23, 2006:
A…£0
B…£35
C…£115
D…£140
E…£165
F…£205
G…£300
Just to clarify - this increase is for vehicles registered after March 23, 2006 - yes???
So that means my D3 and all those other earlier will not have their VED raised - this will stay the same as it is??
Is this right, or am I missing something???...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Yep, U should stay at £205. For the same car, engine, emissions, etc, justa little earlier. Good to see fair government at work, not!

Thanks DSL
Obviously a point that had passed me over [wasn't here at budget].
Just think of all the unsuspecting 'joe public greenies' who are gloating at the thought of ALL '4x4' drivers now paying heavier VED - wrong and misinformed!!
No VED rise is all the more reason for me to hang on to my D3 for a good number of years [as planned].
As I've said before:-
What would I replace it with - another D3 - what's the point?
I'll be Finance Free and be able to afford the odd hefty bill.
That is until the D4 comes along....... always on the road less travelled 🚧
