Hi all,
Just recently purchased a 54 Plate D3 TDV6 Auto HSE, decided this week to get myself an IID and have a look at what faults the car has logged. I cleared all the faults first and then after being run took a note of the faults:
Audio Amplifer
B1D86 - Headphone panel 3
Body Control
B1B02 - Low frequency coil - ( simply something LR never fixed - http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic64118.html?highlight=B1B02)
B1B69 - 12 volt supply circuit - (low power/battery related?)
B1B70 - Local interconnection network bus circuit 2
B1B70 - Local interconnection network bus circuit 2
B1C12 - Passenger's up/down mirror motor circuit
B1C26 - Pedal motor feedback circuit
B1C32 - Steering column tilt solenoid
B1C34 - Steering column telescope solenoid
B1C57 - Passive start ignition relay coil circuit
U0155 - Lost communication with instrument cluster control module - (low power/battery related?)
Engine TDV6
P0405 - Exhaust gas recirculation sensor A - circuit low - (EGR Removed and blanked.)
Instrument Pack
U0132 - Lost communication with ride level control module - (low power/battery related?)
U0159 - Lost communication with parking assist control module - (low power/battery related?)
Traffic Message
B1A56 - Antenna circuit
Ventilation
B1B74 - Front foot-defrost mode stepper actuator
B1B75 - Front foot-face mode stepper actuator
B1B76 - Front left air blend stepper actuator
B1B77 - Front right air blend stepper actuator
Anyone seen these faults before and got them fixed? I started looking at the faults as the FBH doesn't seem to be working. Pulled the fuse, made sure I had enough fuel, it was cold enough (zero at the time!) and the coolant was cold enough. Still no go, I can get it to run with the IID but fails the self test with some error messages. I will have a look again tomorrow with that!
I have been searching on forum for the next course of actions:
Look at the battery/charge.
Check under the vehicle, the connections between the engine and chassis, brief check all the earth!
Many thanks for looking
Mark

Hi Mark,
Whilst all those faults may be legitimate, I'd be starting at the battery & Alternator.
Regards
Richard

I would be doing absolutely nothing with those codes
Unless you are having issues with any of the systems listed with codes. You will find that most of the items listed there will work fine, despite the faults. See them all the time My D3 Build Thread

Thanks Richard and Disco Mikey for the info. Battery has had a good charge and cleared the faults again. One of the Headset panel is not working. Like you said, everything else is working, if it ant broke don't fix it!
