I've never quite understood the H versus V speed rating thing on a TDV6 D3... As I understand, H rating is certainly good for 110mph - not that I'm ever likely to see that in the real world - so what's the point of a V rated tyre on our cars, anyway?
£140 per corner seems great: where do I go???
Having worked in the tyre industry for a few years ...the main point of H and V rated tyres is mainly to do with the torque of your engine ....while we all know the legal speed limit is 70 ..its to do with when you pull away from the lights ....with a high performance engine , you could leave the rubber off your tyres on the floor when you pull away. G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
