2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Zambezi SilverDiscovery 3

I just bought my first Disco3. A second hand 2005 SE TDV6.

The dealer (still under statuatory warranty) has replaced both front ball joints already and I was just there today trying to fix it again. They have checked all bolts in the front end and everything is tight. Car has 145000km's so they just say it is wear and tear, this TSB says differently.

So now that I have found this thread I can show them. Thumbs Up

I also spoke to Alto service in Sydney and they said the inner tie rod ends can get loose. Who knows!

Cheers.

I take it the dealer wasn't Alto?
If you want a definative answer you need to ask Gary Brightwell who is now their workshop manager. New guys at the front desk do not have any product knowledge yet.

Could be tie rods could be lower control arm bushes could be ARB bushes.
