Am i correct in thinking that to keep the LR 3 year warranty valid it just have to be serviced by a VAT registered garage to the LR service Schedule??

Yes, but past experience tells me that it can be more difficult for 'Indies' to claim on your behalf under the LR Warranty than for a main dealer Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

My intention is to get the service done at a reasonable cost to LR schedule so as to maintain the warranty and if there is any problems later it will be dealt with under warranty by LR
Just waiting for our Scottish LR whizz Mikey getting back to me as im not sure he is VAT registered as he is a new venture, hope he is then he will get the work 8)Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!

From previous PMs I think Mikey will be VAT registered for exactly this reason
My reason for raising the warranty issue is, for example, that under my last service the main dealers were able to claim the cost of the wishbones under the warranty; in the past Lix Tolll were not able to manage this when servicing my Defender for a power steering pump.
We seem to be in a similar position - ie have a LR extended 'Assured' warranty and would prefer Mike to do our servicing Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE
