In normal mode, what should be the standard height on front and rear, when measured from centre of wheel to wheelarch. Or is there another method of such measurement.
One of my corners seems a little off . . .
Many thanks in advance and apologies if this has been asked before.

Front 466mm aim for a tolerance of +- 10mm
Rear 485mm aim for a tolerance of +- 10mm

Just done a quick check on my suspension and seems the rear is out by 23mm left to right, I assume this could effect the handling. Also could this cause suspension errors coming up on the dash?
Need to do go round and check how level the ground is and ensure one wheel is not in a dip.

If your standard heights are low, you'll also get a rougher ride. Had this on mine and thought all sorts of things were going to need replacing but....recalibrated the standard heights but jobs a good un

Steve
Sounds like a good first step as I did think I needed new shocks due to the ride being rough after fitting new arms all round along with Grabber ATs, which I have been told give a harder ride due to the reinforced side walls.
So last night I stated the engine and left it running for a few mins and checked the 4x4 screen to check everything was where it was meant to be before disconnected fuse F26E. Then measured , with just over 3/4 of a tank of fuel, from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the arches:
NSF = 475mm
OSF = 480mm
NSR = 478mm
OSR = 505mm
Based on the standard heights, 466mm +/-10mm for the front and 485mm +/- 10mm, both OS units are to high.
20 hours later the suspension has dropped:
NSF = -5mm
OSF = -9mm
NSR = -2mm
OSR = 0mm
I should note that I didn't put tape on the wheels and arches so the measurements on the drop could be out a couple of millimeters. But based on the change in height my assumption is the air bags and valves are working OK'ish as I would have expected them to drop more if I had a real problem. However, I will leave them over night again just to check if they drop more.
Anyway, back to the initial question. By recalibrating the ride height will it make allot of difference to the ride quality and stability, especially as the rear which is out by an inch left to right. And could this be a cause for the suspension bing bongs I get every now and then.
