2 tripods with twin lights ...the car is actually lit from inside also
A friend is teaching me photography,and he decided to use that evening to show the importance of lighting (I'm sure you'd agree )
The signature LED's were on,but got lost in the shot.
I went last week to see a talk Doug Allan was giving on his career as a wildlife cameraman,and the weeks,sometime months, it can take for seconds of footage (I seem to remember he said each 55-minute episode of Blue Planet took 2 years to film)
He also said timing was everything....the original calendar shot for the car is all about the sky...it wasn't like that 2 minutes before,and was gone 2 minutes after that...
Here is another couple when we were playing about...you can actually see the tripod and lights reflected in the bumper...amateur error
And a widescreen with filter....

That may be correct but you take less shots an have more 'good/excellent' one than my hundreds of photos an less 'good/excellent' ones 2009 Discovery 3 HSE - Gone
