The wait is over!!!!!!
Nearly 8 weeks have passed since we ordered our 2014 XS in Corris. We said goodbye to our lovely Disco 3 three weeks ago, and now tomorrow is the big day!
Collecting our new beauty from Marshall's in Cambridge tomorrow afternoon!! Can't wait!

Must say also XS is the "thinking man's" spec
GS = Poverty Spec
HSE = Not much extra for the money
Lux = More money than sense

OMG Tiger, I can now see a long thread developing here, as you got it all wrong, HSE = Highly Sensible Extras!!!

Looking forward to seeing the pics.
I had an XS (Xtra Special) spec Fl2 a nice all round spec.
Dropped to GS for the Disco and have coped well with switching on my own lights and wipers, no heated steering wheel, no cruise control, no leather, no touch screen sat nav, anything else I've missed 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

I like the idea of an XS being the thinking mans spec!
Although in reality it was as far as my budget would stretch!
We are off to the dealers late afternoon for collection!!!!

A profile change needed with new motors details
Enjoy ..... a long way off for me .... maybe in 10 years time D4 Front upgrade/cut back wings n things 'taking a long time but getting there'.
D4 rear upgrade - Narpys helped with that bit
Flack for problem solving and D4 Bluetooth Install/ D4 Heated Steering wheel with Flappy paddles n BBS enabling kit
Disco Mikeys work - Serviced, EGR blanking and 4x4 software upgrade, 3 flash indicators.
B.A.S - FBHIC. Uncle Rays spare wheel protector. Beanie Silver Black badges.

Hairy Dan, how did you get my pic from gallery to be displayed on the thread?
I couldn't seem to do it from my phone.
