How does he keep getting away with these things.

Who keeps voting him into office? Or is it when you become Mayor, that position takes on a dictators role that you cannot be removed from, such as Saddam and Mugade.

Ken will be up for re-election next year, if Londoners vote him in for a third term then they deserve everything he inflicts on them.
He won last time with a third of the votes cast and the turnout was only third of those eligible.
The other 5/6 of London either didn't vote or did not vote for him.

As usual, he's already made his mind up: "Following consultation" (which will probably be totally against the proposal) "I will implement it in 2010 anyway".

I'm off to Scotland if he gets in again.

A lot of Londoners I speak to confess to having been pretty apathetic last time, but they are sooooo peed off with him they are looking to vote tactically to get him out. Regardless of their own politics, they'll vote for whoever has the best chance of removing him and his hate-filled and ill-informed agenda.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I love the way this new charge is based on CO2 emissions when there is still no proof that this is a problem. Trees and plants need the stuff, don't they?

So is he going to sort out the parking for all of us just outside the zone who will now run a second or indeed third City Car Laughing

Sometime in the future, people will look back at this period of our history and Censored themselves at how foolish our leaders were.

Livingston was on the radio the other day and the excuses are starting to flow. Apparently the CO2 we produce today will have no effect on our envoirenment for 25 years. Basically we are feeling the effects of CO2 emitted in 1981 - this gives him a 25 year grace period until we are all told that CO2 has nothing to do with global warming!!!!!

BTW Ken will get voted in again because there is no one who will stand against him, besides the conservatives are all green now so I doubt policy would change even if the mayor changes! b Censored ds !!!!!!!
Loving the power of the TDV8!
