[b][i]I'm in need of help fitting mudflaps to the front of my '56' D3 S, i tried fitting but the trim around the wheel arch prevent's me putting in the 3rd and final bolt.Am i totally useless as my wife keeps telling me or is there a knack to fitting such a simple item. Please HELP ME !!!!!!!!
Ps ....If anyone fancies fitting them for me ,i'll buy them a drink

get all 3 screws started 1st before you tighten them up you may need to push them around abit mine didnt line up that well either

I ended up elongating one of the holes with a file, in order to avoid giving myself a hernia trying to make them line up.

Bit late I'm sure, but just in case anyone else struggled with this one. Fitted mine last weekend and found that using a small trolley jack under the bottom edge of the flap was enough to lift it the 5-10 mm needed to align with the bottom hole!!
Used a piece of neoprene to avoid damaging the plastic.
Well, that'll be my first reply ever!
