I have dipping mirrors when reversing set as well as lazy entry.
But I am constantly reprogramming my memory seat setting for the side mirrors and seat.
Is there a software fix for this ?
Or should i stop using features that I paid for ? 2009 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 HSE

You can program the level your mirrors dip to, is this what you mean? DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Could you explain that again Pelyma. I notice that the mirrors dip differently depending on which memory setting the drivers seat is at, but I wasn't aware that I could control the amount of dipping. Is this somewhere in the manual?
Thanks

In the manual
When you do the seat memory, put the car in reverse and set the mirrors saving it to the same memory position as your seat and voila 8) Save you looking at the floor. The dipping mirrors feature is great once you sought it out! DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

issue i have is i set my seat and mirrors.
but gradually when over a short period of time, with dipping turned on, they end up not returning to my memory setting.
so then i have to set my memory setting again.
also i set my seat to furtherst position back, but the memory setting always sets it to a little forward. so i end up changing it.
just seems that the memory setting doesn't hold correctly and with dipping mirrors on, the side mirrors keep changing their position.
gets frustrating ... 2009 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 HSE

Just tried this on my car. The mirrors don't seem to remeber an actual position for the dip. They dip by a certain amount and where they end up depends on where they started (if you see what I mean). So if you move the mirrors yourself the dip will end up as a different position.
My layzee entry and seat position is programmed to the two different key fobs. so if you pick up the wrong keyfob the settings are different.
......does that make any sense??
It is covered in the manual that's how I found out how to program it. 2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE
