Phil, when's the next meet?? I may tag along if I'm free?

And

Mik, my new car came with the new stainless tyre pressure dust valve centres which have a little black box attached at the rear of the alloy and this tells the vehicles diagnostics what the daily situation is with the pressures, the 21' alloys off the range rover didn't, I wasn't aware of this sensor at the time and every time you went over 60 miles per hour the amber exclamation warning light would appear and the dash would light up like a Christmas tree.

Having spoken with Landrover it would appear that every new wheel would need a new sensor and calibration. I asked about turning the tyres sensors off completely and they said this is something they cannot do with the new model due to safety reasons.

2 hours labour and cost of parts £340!!! No thanks.

And as you both say, it does look better with the originals on anyhow, I came across the range rover set off a friend of a friend who has more money than sense, he said i could have them at a price I couldn't really refuse and a price that I will make a profit on once sold, nothing lost just a bit of time and hassle that's all.

The dealer also stated that for some reason, the new range rovers are not coming through with these sensors attached??? Why, I don't know??

Cheers
