Does anyone know, is there a Nanocom Evo for a new MY15 RRS? If so, I might have a friend, who wants one too. I'd do the order for him, if allowed. Cheers Patrick from Munich

Hiya Guys
Sorry not to have answered some of your questions before now but I only get to the forums during the evenings and being in Cyprus I am 2 hours ahead of the UK so it was already 10PM when I last posted and things were already a bit blury
Anyway, i am here now and so on to answer at least some comments and questions.
Beanie:
Yes, sorry about that, but Group buys are based on bulk quantities and while I am setting the start point at just 12, this is in a realistic expectation and my experience that the final number of participants will rise to far more than 20, which has always attracted a 22.5% discount.
In my hosting a group buy I have to add some forum membership eligibility critera so to offset that I give an additional 2.5% discount.
However as I pointed out and you note there are plenty of ways for you to benefit from this too.
Most notibly after a Group buy event finishes there are always a number of members who then post up that they just missed it and would jump at the opportunity to get one from someone who has a spare, even if not at quite the same discount rate and have you seen how much these cost on Ebay
The offer extends to all Nanocom kits (which come complete with everything you need) for all models it covers, all accessories and any additional licence codes purchased at the same time.
The math is pretty simple
Add up the without VAT costs of the requisite kit and any other related items from our web shop in your currency of choice.
Kits for a Can BUS model EG D3 or D4 are Euro 402.00 and GBP 348.86
Multiply this by .75 to apply the discount giving 301.5 and 261.64 respectively
Add shipping depending of which of the two services you want
For the UK and most of Europe, In Euro this is 24.60 or 31.98 and GBP 21.35 or 27.75
If you wish to pay by CC or Paypal instead of bank Transfer you need to add 3% so multiply by 1.03
Then if you are in Europe and cannot provide a Valid EU VAT number at the check out you need to add VAT @19% so must then multiply by 1.19
So by my math, the cheapest shipping and payment options for Kits alone and with VAT gives
Euro 388.06 and GBP 336.76
In terms of capability and comparison.
Lets just say that the nanocom is a very capable system already, does full CCF editing and Flashing, has no complaints from those that invest in one at any price and is constantly being added to and has very extensible methodology to its software. We do intend to add the Freelander 2, Evoque, L494 and L405 to it
Will:
Unfortunately VAT changes, Timing issues and additional re distribution costs make this not as easy and money saving as it might first seem.
Re anyone not yet quite meeting Eligibility.
Please drop me a PM for consideration rathger than Spam the board with meaningless posts to build post counts
Paddy
As stated L494 is yet to be added but what you do with second units is up to you

I have looked at these over the years and am now trying to get clear things like:
- I have a BAS remap, does a load of an edited ccf over write that?
- I have had software updates for things like the turbo actuator wiggle when switching off, does that and other updates get over written.
I am sure the answer must be "no" to the above, but thought I would ask.
Finally, when using the device on the move, would it show things like live temperature readings of the Auto Trans Fluid?
Barn1e (not to be confused with Beanie) 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

Hey DG, is there any chance that you could make this sticky to make sure that no eligible members miss out on the deal that Colin is arranging for us?
Thanks Justin

At least you will have every feature switched on ready for delivery Paddy
I am sure the wait will feel less if you have some tech to play with Justin

Yarp Just remember you can use the "red triangle" on the top left to notify us of issues or requests ...sometimes we don't return to view a thread. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
