Parking Distance Control Module - new one being fitted |
|
Hi all,
Having had our sensors and wiring checked our autotech is on route to fit a new PDC module in my 2008 D3.
He's confident it's a module issue as the old one has a tiny bit of corrosion on it which may well be the problem. The diagnostic machine is NOT being helpful and throwing up very weird readings so we're hoping a new module will be the answer.
Question - will the new module simply be a plug and play, straight replacement OR will it have to go to LR dealer to have it programmed on their machine?
We're off on holiday in a few days so really wanted it sorted before we go!

I believe it's plug n play. This is something I need to try on mine as front and rears have never worked, how much was it?

I think around £150 plus VAT - however it's being covered by the dealer as we only bought it three weeks ago!
