Hi Guys,
Anyone experienced the wipers running at full pelt when it is just raining hard, and not really hard and can be handled by the normal continous wipe speed?

Yep, it's a 'feature' usually cured by turning up the sensitivity for a few seconds then back down
TBH, it depends on how the raindrops refract the light from the sensor, larger raindrops bend the light more than smaller ones so the wipers go into overdrive

Yes, usually happens me when overtaking a lorry and some spray gets blown onto the windscreen - wipers go into hyper speed! So I usually just manually set them to normal speed when it's raining heavy enough. IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver
SA - 07 VW Golf TDI - White - Sold!

Yeah, I expected it when overtaking a wagon.....that makes sense.....
OK, I shall have a play with the sensitivity thing.........so do I do that then?
