Thanks again guys.
I know the price is eye-watering, but you only live once.
IanT599, thanks for bucking the trend! I have built a car online using an HSE lux as the basis, and then added everything that the XXV has, including the premium paint, and it actually adds up to about £1,000 more than the XXV. In addition, the XXV also has the special wheels, cirrus leather, and a few oddments besides, none of which are available on other models.
Perhaps I am trying to talk myself into it, but I will probably be sensible (and boring) at the end of the day, and stick with my existing order.
But then again........

Did like the leather....I haven't looked at the XXV spec, but I assume they all get the very light leather with the contrasting stitching ?.....it did look nice with the black exterior....but then I jumped into a RRS and that felt like a big jump up in class again.....it even had the deployable side steps....a snip at £2700 "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...
Locking rear E-diff
RLD spare wheel protector & sump guard
Extended roof rails
Series 111 mudflaps
Black side tubes,grill and vents
Timed climate remote
Hids4u interior lights
D4 Firenze my2012 HSE
D3 Java 2005 SE manual (sold, sadly, thanks for the memories)
1966 '88 Series 2a....still starts in the morning better than I do...

Sorry need to disagree on the step up in class thing from XXV to RRS...looked at both...did not like the driving position in the rrs and thought it looked good on the inside...but a bit cheap feeling on some bits....more flashy than well put together.
Each to there own I suppose

In reply to the original question......Yes you should get it....you only live once and you can't take the money with you...life's too short to have regrets and you know deep down you will regret it when that XXV passes you.

Agree with previous comment made by XXV, you will regret it once one passes you, the thought will go through your mind of that 'I could have had one of those for a few more quid'
If you are undecided it usually means you want the bigger and better thing, if you can afford it, bloody go for it, life's too short!!!! ðŸ‘
