Back to the original topic - Commercial for business use is by far the best bet of the selection that you have listed as it really will drag trailers around, get you through the mucky stuff and then wash up nicely to take you and yours out for dinner...
Atlantech for seats - fantastic service and cracking seats. Mine are now in the second vehicle and worth every penny.
Dealers?
Lease packages - without wishing to offend the site sponsors, I would suggest you speak to Paul White at Alpha Leasing in Northampton. Paul has done cars, vans and D4's for me for the last 15 years and has always come up trumps with vehicles, best price etc. He would also be best placed to advise on the merits of 3 year deal or 4 year deal, bearing in mind the maintenance costs might rise disproportionately in Yr 4!
PM me if you want more info...

The Land Rover extended warranty isn't worth looking at?

I am not sure if you are making a statement or asking if its any good. I think Landrover provide the warranty through a third party but have heard it can be good at about £900. So far this year mine has cost about £4000 in repairs with 5 faults.D4

I forgot to mention the D40 (current shape) Navara I had was a total POS kept breaking minor and major components and the local Dealership (JFE Exeter) where the worst I have ever known, I usually had to diagnose the fault for them- then would get the vehicle back with the issue not rectified! then return it.... Moan until they would give me a curtesy car (wouldn't for a warranty fix......)MY14 post man pat van
70series land cruiser
1947 willys jeep
Hobby 670 motor home
And lots of other stuff in my shed, on my driveway or abandoned in the village
Several VW T5's
Mitsubishi outlander
And a Suzuki X90... Only drive that at night

I can see there is no grey area but excuse my ignorance then a D4 commercial (or D3) is over 2 tonne laden weight!
So they have to stick to <50mph on single carriageway and <60 on dual carriageway.....
Hmmmm
It just so happens there is an exemption to this is the vehicle has the ability to transfer power to all four wheels in which case, the car derived van speed rules apply (60 on dual carriageway without central reservation, 70 on m'ways and dual carriageways with central reservation).Phil
D4 Commercial XS on order

Do you have an authoritative document that explains that as I have yet to find one. My search has gone back to the original House Of Lords debate in 1955 on dual use vehicles!
I can find documents that state the 4x4 requirement yet still lists a weight limit below that of a D3/D4.
