No service books any more

So when I picked up my new 15MY a week or so ago .. I was told it is now all done via computer ... So no service book

Top marks for progress .. But got me thinking !!

What if you don't get it serviced at LR ?

Is there going to be gaps if you have it done elsewhere ? Will LR add the service your local independent has done ???

Is this another way of keeping you at the dealers ? G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thats crazy. Dealers should have a good enough service and prices for you to stay with them, they shouldn't need to try and make you stay with them Neutral 2009 Discovery 3 HSE - Gone

BMW are the same. a virtual service book on line. The punch line is its only £375 for a 5 year service package. Shocked can't even get one service for the Disco for that. Rolling Eyes

Good indepenents who subscribe to topix and programming can be registered to complete the online service history.
To be honest, Landrover are, in general very helpful to us independents.
