my 2015 arrived - Fuji with black Pack
Hi,
I used to own a D4 untill a friend flipped it over and smashed her up unrepairable ... I'm driving around in a RRS (Nara Bronze) since, and now it's itching too hard so i'm going back to a Disco ... And also because my family now counts 6 seats, so i'ts a Disco or a bus :at
Pulles the plug and ordered the new one today. Going to sell the sport private since the dealer couldn't really make a competitive offer... Dad ordered a nice RRS dynamic sdv6 for himself too, so we got a nice price for the double order.
I ordered a 3.0 SDV6 HSE Black pack
- Exterieur Colour Fuji White
- Interior = Arabica + Walnut
- Black pack with 20" wheels
- Convenience pack 7 seats + Oxford leather (incl. extended)
- Sunroof
- Meridian 825 + DAB
- Cold Climate pack
- Automatic high beam assist
- Cooling center console
- Camera (reversing only)
- Detachable tow hook
Dealer will try to put the HSE luxury pack on it instead of all the seperate options, but apparantly they couldn't offer it but they can order it... Anyway, configuration wise it's the same, but it would be nice if it made the end result cheaper ...
The waiting game started Dealer told me it would get here in October.
This was my first Disco ... Still miss her

In all due respect, after seeing these pictures, and understanding what happened, albeit to a freind you lent the car to, that your only thoughts and questions are of what colour the replacement should be, rather than how well the vehicle stood up to this major accident and how lucky your friind was to be in such a vehicle that saved him is somewhat totally missing the point IMHO.
If I managed to walk away unharmed from this kind of accident, i would be praising the vehicles make and model regardless of what colour it was painted in.

I respect the car A LOT, we had six people in the car with the accident happened and nobody was hurt, that was the trully spectacular thing!
White is no option since our factory is close to a sand shipping company, so the roads are always filled with dirt and when it rains the sand dust comes down... So I need a little masking...2015 Discovery SDV6 HSE Fuji White with Black pack

What the are you going on about?!
He's come on here asking for colour combinations, not for a lecture on how to sustain a boner over the crash protection a d4 offers.

Indeed that was truly spectacular thing with a great outcome from the accident, which as we can all see from the pictures you provided on this thread was quite some event. As I posted, IMHO is really a very noteworthy / postworthy event worthy of due credit to the vehicles build quality in it's own right.
The front right wheel alone is clearly smashed in to the hub.
I am hoping i did not mis read your reason for slipping these otherwise un related pictures on this thread, but otherwise appreciate that it is no wonder you are looking for another Disco 4 and after reading the story and seeing the pictures you have provided, don't blame you one bit
In respect of your origional question, although you post you have already opted for Fuji White with Black Design, i am a lover of all things Blue and as such my last purchase of an LR was a Bali Blue RRS but also available on a D4.
Although described as Blue, depending on the light conditions it shifts from purple, Dark Blue and Light Blue. It even has pink flecks in it.
However my Wife would have chosen White
Whatever colour you chose, i wish you all the best accident free future

I agree Bali Blue is a stunning colour
I don't really like Blue cars but Bali is right up there with my favourites, cobar Blue which I had on a Defender which was kind of Greeny bluish hue and my all time favourite land rover colour bronze green !Only dead fish go with the Flow !

So, took delivery some 3 weeks ago of my amazing new Disco, Happy, happy, happy with it
Overall impressions versus my 2010 with the 245hp engine and 6-speed gearbox is that it's just in a completely different league now. It just feels connected to your foot/brain, the upgraded engine and the gearbox work together on your inputs like never before. It's an absolute dream to drive. It goes like (check drivers license) fast too . Like my dealer rep said, it's a finished and well built product now, they sorted all the quirks and now it's just a masterpiece. He couldn't have said it any better! The car puts a smile on my face on the way to work and on the way back home.
Inside atmosphere too, the satnav/media screen just works as it should have been now, it's elegant and does what it's supposed to do. I'm also not complaining about the Meridian vs my Logic 7, ok the Logic seemed tighter on the bass department, but overall after some tweaking in the setting menu and listening to the Meridian preset, I like it a lot now. Bluetooth audio isn't my friend, but when you use a cable with the Iphone, all works well and sound crisp and beautiful.
Detailed here over the weekend, she's got some serious sealant and wax on her now, all set for winter. Tried some new stuff from Gyeon on the wheels and windscreen, after reading and will be happy to report if it's "the good" stuff in a few weeks. For the rest I use a complete arsenal from Chemical Guys. Like the stuff they make, you have to see through the gimmick marketing blablabla and it's all easy and straightforward to use.
