Modification possible for rear bumper?
Last time I went offroading I got the feeback from scollis that my rear bumper wobbeld when I go up a decent and the back dipps into the dirt with the bumper. I noticed know that the bumper underneath is not massiv and it can act as a shovel and pulls so at the whole bumper. Is there any remedy before I lose my bumper.
Try going uphill backwards......... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Had the same problems, that is why I now have a Kaymer steel rear bar. See my gallery.06 TDV6 SE with many LR and after-market extras. Used only on weekends and trips out west.

Not heard of many peeps losing their back bumper off-road TBH...don't forget they are designed to have some flexibility too 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I did see someone at Boughrood a little while ago coming down the hiroshima section without the towbar on and the bumper made contact with the ground and it didn't half wobble - leave mine on now every time i go offroad.

I actually ripped off the rear bumper (plastic skin) on 2 occasions when crossing steep sided gullies. I have what is left of plastic skin if someone wants to buy it. I had the same problems with the D2. The D1 was better protected by a Hayman Reese towbar.06 TDV6 SE with many LR and after-market extras. Used only on weekends and trips out west.
