EGR Blanking -- Emulators -- Or what -- Just Wondering.
A while back on this and the Sport Forum every other post was asking about EGR Blanking on the Euro 4 power unit. Basically there was no fix.
Reading this forum these posts seldom crop up nowadays, so what's happened, are people just fitting new EGR valves, Emulators or something else
Pete Bell Came up with the Emulators, and Geoff or Flack were the guys to go if you wanted to go down this route. However I don't often see any posts about this.

No bud myself and Geoff and have fitted quite a few now emulators now, it seems the colder weather effects the failure more as I have have more inquiries about them..
There have been a few members that posted back after having them fitted.

I would have thought there would have been a good take up on them, it's a far better and cheaper option than fitting 2 new EGR valves.

I'm hoping to get Geoff to do mine when he's back up and running, I'll probably keep him busy with a service and oil pump change too but I've got a few k miles so can wait a while until I hear from him.
Both Pete and Geoff and I have done quite a few its just that the guys did not post after fitting them..

Flack may be able to add more, but I thought that, though some had been fitted, Pete hadn't fully launched his system yet. He'd been a bit overwhelmed with enquiries despite posting that he wouldn't be fully up to speed with them 'till the end of November when he returned from holiday.Arthur.
Comedy was a horse, Harvey a dog, both sadly gone. Thought I was choosing a password!

Yes thats correct Pete did fit some at the Peterborough show along with Geoff, and as you have already said Pete has been very busy the last few weeks and when he returns he should go all out to push them.
