driving lights
Has anyone got the dealer fitted, genuine supply black stell "Bunny Bar" with genuine light kit?
The question is wether the clamps used to mount the l;amps are suitable for other brnds of lamp or specific to the landy mounted lights only.
Dealer has priced the clamps for me, but the loom that comes with the kit is only available with the kit, and $1100.00 for 2 clamps, 2 lights, and a loom seems pretty exy.
Give the dealers in the UK a go on price. One particular "Large One" does a 20% disc for forum members.
Cheers,

Yes indeed.
The clamps look like they will take any light base.
I have emailedNick at Yoevil LR in GBR, and am awaiting a reply (I got a wheel mount radio buttons at 1/2 price relative to Aus dealer price.
Don't forget to donate part of your savings to the site.
I've found it to be up to 80% cheaper delivered to the door.
I don't know about fitting other lights to the base. Seems a fiddly of a thing just to line them up with much stabbing of the hand with engineers screwdriver, swearing and cursing.
Other dl's I've had (CIBI & Hella) would not fit the base.

Do you have part numbers available for the clamps and or for the kit you have?
LR CBR don't have a listing equivilant, as the steel bar is not a GBR item, however, with numbers they may be able to check against stock items.
The listing available from GBR is iether for mounting to the standard bumper or to the A frame type nudge bar.
Wopac5, Sorry Mate I don't have the part numbers as I bought mine in a package, Premium Country I think, when I bought the car. The dealer installed all in pre delivery.
Two points of warning with this type of bull bar: 1. You can't remove the plastic radiator protector thingy on the front (The one LR recommend you remove to go sand driving) without removing the bull bar
If you look where the bull bar is attached to the D3, in the second pic you will see what I mean.2. You can not fit a winch to this bull bar.
