getting a bit creaky inside
Having only covered 40,000 kms the disco is getting a bit creaky inside. The dash and centre consol creak under braking and acceleration. I guess things are flexing a bit. I could take it all apart and reassemble but would it help if everything is flexing?
so two questions.
..Is yours creaky?
..was your creaky and now its not?
...what did you do?
....who is good at maths?
Also the boss is pushing for a new Range Rover vogue se and for me to pass the disco on to her father.
The 3.0 diesel is not avail yet here but maybe in 6 mths. The 3.0sc is avail (no 4.4 diesel and 5.0sc is an extra 150k pounds due to tax so maybe pass on 300+k for a rangey)
so a couple more questions
anyone got one with the 3.0 SC engine? whats it like real world.?It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

My 2005 D3 has creaked, rattled, and jumbled for years. I used to obsess over it, but I just accept the noises now that come with the versatility.16 D4 Landmark

The centre armrest in my 2010 D4 creaks, but only when a passenger is leaning on it, otherwise mine is very quiet, well it is now that I leave the luggage cover on the boot floor.Andy

Mine is an old beast having been assembled in July 2004. Mine sounds like I've got a bag of spammers laying in the boot permanently. My 2nd row seats also shake about over every bump and pothole in the road. I assume they improved the cabin noise over time / production. Until I pick up a D5 I'll keep driving my D3 Rumbler. 16 D4 Landmark

No creaks from inside the cabin found the interior to be a high light. The centre armrest thing probably creaks but I love the sound system which has been used to drown out the failing front diff. The shrieking rear hand brake shoes.D4
