I have a fabric boot liner and the section that sits on the tailgate flap bridging the gap between car and lower tailgate keeps coming adrift.
It has velcro all around but there is only the flap carpet to stick the mating velcro to. Should I glue this velcro to the carpet (loathe to do) or am I missing something?

Did you use anything to "clean" the surface before sticking your velcro on? Mine came away from the side wall and the dog decided to leave half its fur on the sticky side of the tape.....new velcro required...

XXV - Like yours on my last D4 the Velcro never stuck & I just lived with it, but on my new one, as its a keeper, I decided to use small screws to secure the long side Velcro strips, works a treat!

I've got the hatchbag and cleaned the vinyl with what ever the instructions said ( can't remember now but others will be along I'm sure) and everything sticks really good.

You need to get the silicone coat off the trim by using Tar remover from Autoglym or equivalent.
Velcro sticky tabs will NOT stick otherwise.

My hatchbag liner has a pocket that fits over this piece. But on all three of my Disco's I've covered this piece in black gaffer tape. It creates a wipeable plastic surface and is easy to remove when you sell the vehicle. It doesn't damage the carpet underneath or the plastics. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Idea of the year! For Gaffer tape! I have bought the side bits that cover the bins on 3rd row window shelves but was a bit concerned as they cover up the air vents.......I take it you have no issues with yours?

I don't have those additional covers for the bins on my HatchBag, so not sure. If you don't need them fitted all the time, just keep them in the vehicle and put them on as and when. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
