I had a letter 2 weeks ago from the finance company I used for our new digger 20 months ago saying the same , money will be paid in to my account but can take up to 90 days -------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.

12 months later thought I'd resurrect this thread....
....because I had ANOTHER cheque through the post this week, as a result of annual summary paperwork cockup on a loan I had between 2010 and 2014 which I paid off early and I'd completely forgotten about when this thread was active 12-18 months ago
The poor financial organisation is this case was the Cooperative Bank (as the loan provider behind the AA), the loan was set up in Aug 2010 and as usual its all interest after the first annual summary (September 2011) they've paid back - just shy of £1,500, mustn't grumble... some trinkets need to be purchased...
