Armrest able to fit to non-electric seats |
|
Hi, looking at selling D3 HSE (with armrest) for a D4 new, the base model (Australia) is perfect by has no armrest. Don't want to spend extra $ to go up a mode just to get electric seats, just to get an armrest.
Anyone done a retrofit of an armrest into manual seats ??
I assume the mounting point inside the seat would be missing, but just asking as I would love the answer to be yes. New MY15 TDv6 D4 in Buckingham Blue

Been discussed a few times. You can buy the armrests from landrover but you will need the cover removed and a mounting bracket/nut welded to the seat frame to enable fitment.

Taking off the covers to get to the frame is like being stuck in an elevator with Bob Dillon and Leonard Cohen.
Have a look around and try get second hand seats with armrests from a breakers. Less stressful way imo A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.
