No sound error codes B1A00-47 & U3000-54
Hi guys
I've got a 2006 V8 HSE with an HK Logic 7 system fitted. Since I bought it the sound system hasn't worked. Its the usual story, sat nav, radio, cd all work and display but zero sound.
So today I plucked up the courage to use my IIDT BT for the first time and I got the following codes:
Cell Phone
B1A00-47 (AF) Control module - System internal failure - watchdog/safety failure
U3000-54 (EC) Control module - System programming failure - missing calibration
Can some one please walk me through the steps needed to locate the problem and solve it. I should add that I'm truly clueless regarding electronics so it'll need to be some thing a five year old can follow.
I should add that I've followed various threads thinking it was amp related and pulled fuses, disconnected power and reconnected, radio reset and hard reset etc, with no success but then it seems I was looking in the wrong direction.
TIA
Olly

Firstly
What's your pairing code to your blue tooth if its 2121 then you need a most loop and loop out your blue tooth module see if it brings the sound back

Hi Geoff,
The code is 2121, the car its fitted with the full PTI system.
Thanks for the link. Is it likely that I'd be able to pick up the lead from the main dealer? If we weren't supposed to eat meat why did God make animals taste so good?

IID Tool
Today I had a good play with my IIDT, what a great bit of kit
Amongst the jobs I did was to update the car's bluetooth so I now have no pairing issues and the phone book on the radio
I was hoping this would cure the no sound problem but alas no
Is the fact that module was successfully updated and working a significant clue in proving that the module is not the cause of my problems? If we weren't supposed to eat meat why did God make animals taste so good?

Have you managed to fixx this?
Looking at your fault codes :
B1A00-47 (AF) Control module - System internal failure - watchdog/safety failure
U3000-54 (EC) Control module - System programming failure - missing calibration
System programing failure.. missing calibration.... Hmmm.. does your Amp have software installed at all? can you check to see what hardware number and software number is on the amp with your IIDTool?
the watchdog/safety failure fault might be triggered when someone have tried to program the amp with the wrong type of software.
So the first thing you have to do is to check if you can communicate with it.
Check if you can read the ecu voltage and the temp of the amp.
If you can not, then you need to check if the amp has software installed or not.
If it has installed software, then you need to check to see if the installed sofware is correct for that hardware. Update if new software is availible.
If it hasent software installed, then you need to check the hardware number and find the correct software for it and install it with the IIDTool, if it has the capability to do so.
You did update the Bt module and its working as it should, this indicates that the amp has power. but do check on the power connector to see if you have 12v there.. Its time to digg out that multimeter..
If everything fails, Call a friend.

I have this error and no sound. I took it in for a software update, but they couldn’t get the update to complete. Any ideas on how to fix?

Did you fix this problem? My Bluetooth used to work correctly a few months ago. Now I’m getting the same problems you mention.
