How long before you had to call LR Assistance?
Well - that's our D4 christened already - collected yesterday afternoon and before 1pm today we were limping up the A25 near Shere in Surrey under vehicle restricted performance conditions... 29mph flat out up the climb onto the Surrey Hills.
Thankfully we were able to pull in at Newlands Corner and wait the 90 minutes for Land Rover Assistance to appear (once the dealers had called then as our cover hadn't even been set up yet) and diagnose the turbo switchover valve was stuck open.
A bit of magic spray later and the valve was sufficiently operational for us to be back on our way; apparently this was quite common before the part was redesigned (?) and we will be booked in for a replacement under Warranty on Monday.
How many can beat 23 hours before needing their first intervention? Spirits not dampened just yet though...

I had restricted performance within 4 hours.
I just turned it off waited 10 minutes and it has been fine since, but I guess this doesn't count as I didn't call anyone.
Mine had been at the dealers for a few weeks before purchasing it (used), so I just put it down to it being started up and moved around and only running for a few minutes at a time, especially as I got the message the first time I really accelerated hard and it appeared at 60mph and I then started slowing down.Andy

When I picked up the D4, my dealer was still waving me off down the road when it sank to the bump stops and lit up like a Christmas tree ....so 15 seconds and 30 yards. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Suppose I'd better count myself lucky that I got home without event on collection then!
Mind you, the promised call within 30 minutes about the replacement car tomorrow hasn't materialised yet...
