well got a genuine LR fixed tow bar set up for a bargain price of £70, just need to remove it myself and then i'll get it freshly powder coated and fit it to the D4

With LR issuing a recall, would you not take it to a dealer and ask them to inspect it? If wear is found, they replace it with a fixed FOC.

I'm out of warranty in a few days and to be fair, it'd cost me more having time of work to take it down there, get a lift back, and then vice versa to collect it
