Reversing Camera behaviour
I'm a new owner of a disco 4 and very happy with my new LR. Hello everyone
I do have a couple of teething problems, the main one being the reversing camera. When I turn the steering wheel the displayed wheel tracks do not move to show the projected destination of the car. They always display straight which seems like a waste of time. My dealer told me that this is the correct behaviour on the LR4's.
Is this true?
Thanks in advance
Paul

Does it depend upon whether you've got the surround cameras and tow assist?

I think it depends on the model year.
I had a 2012 and the lines stayed straight but now have a 2014 and the lines move in a curve following the steering wheel. Both cars were/are HSE without surround cameras.

That fits my case as I have 63 pre-facelift. The post facelift must have newer systems.

For >2013MY it depends on whether you have tow assist ...no tow assist = straight lines only 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Every D4 I've had have the lines that move. To be fair, they have alkl had the Tow assist pack on them but I'd have thought that they should all move regardless. Have you sent a message to Pete @ Land Rover customer services on here or tried to speak to another dealer. Best speak to someone like the service manager because SOME sales staff aren't always totally au fait with every model and spec etc.
Hope this helps?
