Geoff came and flushed my car yesterday. What a gentleman and I was very impressed by his knowledge. He is truly a lr guru. Transmission is so much smoother. There is reduced over revving and mpg has increased by 2.5 to 3 mpg. He also looked at my car and being new to the discovery fraternity taught me a lot.
I cannot thank him enough and look forward to further meets.
In the great words of geoff. My car is officially sorted

Big thanks to Disco_Mikey
The man that knows was here today, some Rupert had put ATF in my auto box before I bought it and I have to say before the garage I bought it from as well who told me they hadn't changed the oil because the service book clearly states it had been done at 75,000 I bought it at 80,000 now approaching 100,000, I will keep you all posted if the shudder it had started to develope has been sorted(not had chance to drive her yet a busy day for me to)and I will now monitor the possible long term effects this might have on my Gearbox. Thank you Mikey your good reputation goes before you and is well deserved.

Now have managed x two trips out x one short x one a bit longer the shudder is still there but easier to drive through and maybe not as pronounced or even happening on every incline. The big news to me though is that the gearbox is much more responsive than it was and trips along at 60mph with less engine revs than pre flush and as the gearbox comes down the gears there is much better retardation than pre flush. I will be doing a couple of thousand miles of comprehensive driving soon and will do another report then as long as I am not boring folk.
