D4 is five years old and looks like the original battery is on its way out; I'd had my suspicions about it for a while. I do keep it topped up with a CTEK over the winter months as I generally only do short journeys, made sure that it was fully charged up about 10 days ago. This morning remote climate didn’t fire up, car only just started and ‘special programs off’ flashed on the dash whilst it was turning over.
IID voltage display recently showed 14.4v when running but over the last few weeks has been as low as 11.8v when not running.
No point in messing about (or getting stranded with a flat battery this time of year) so Bosch S6 AGM should be at home waiting for me when I get back 
Euro Car Parts are far from the cheapest around but they do do same day delivery for £3.99 if you order before 2pm and your local depot has the item in stock, which mine did. I wanted the problem fixed tomorrow so getting the battery quickly was far more important to me than saving a few pounds in this instance.

Just replaced mine on my 4 year old D4 for £86 including next day delivery and 4 year warranty - but then you went for AGM.
But, is an AGM 70Ah/ 760CCA suitable for a D4?
Does the fact that it's an AGM make-up for the normal spec of 90Ah/ 950CCA? (I don't know - just asking).

Yes I bought the second one that MarsKy linked to. As I said I was more interested in getting it today than ultimately the cost.
