This looks like a very usefull piece of kit - but a couple of questions first.
Will the monitor fit into the space in the dash if one does not have the LR sat-nag screen?
Is the sole way of mounting for the camera the double sided tape? It would seem vulnerable to mischevious bad boys pulling if off to sell in the pub for a fiver.
How weatherproof does the camera appear to be? Possibility is to use a second camera to view the winch when parking or winding in.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. Multi-channel Screen so it will find it or you can tell it, one of those options will fit but I don't know until I see one in the flesh.Paul Redding

Cameras are weatherproof enough to live on the number plate or somewhere else, but possibly reversing into the river might be a bit much?Paul Redding

Its on a bracket with plenty of holes in it, tape is on the front so you would remove the number plate stick it to the back and refit, that's what we do on our vans and they are fine but I guess there could be many ways of modding the bracket. I will post up some more pics when the stock arrives.Paul Redding

Not hi-jacking thread just feeding back on wireless connecti
I have fitted a wireless camera into the number plate light, it replaces the current light and still has a light for the number plate.
It is wireless to my Garmin GPS (GS model so no central screen). It works very well with some occasional interference, not traced it down yet.

Would be intrested in a review of how it works over the distance from the back of an 8m caravan and into the cab of the D4. If it works without interference I would buy one. There are many much more expensive ones out there that cannot cope with that distance so if you have found one that can you could be onto a winner.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
